Getting ready for this Holiday Bazaar next Saturday. I obviously take cash and checks. What is a solid app to accept money on the fly that won't charge you a ton of fees? or high percents? I am old school and have Paypal, but they charge like 20% since I have used them for close to 20 years.

Does Cashapp charge a fee? I don't know much about it, but maybe something to research?

I can do the research, but I want experience. Paypal used to be the thing and I do use it to pay for stuff. Plus they fight for you on disputes and get your money back on bunk deals.

I sadly had two bad experiences with Paypal fighting for me, but that happens. I have only used Cash App between family for certain things... so I can't give the experience sadly. Sorry I am not more help.

Thank you for your insight. Paypal has saved me a lot of $$$ from buyers and sellers.

Greetings,

I too mainly use PAYPAL, but for personal financial transactions and only get charged for currency exchange if sending money outside the U.S.A.

I've also used VENMO & ZELLE.

My Sister conducts business and has refused to pay the fees PayPal charges. She uses ZELLE, the last I heard.

I've had positive experiences with PayPal via eBay and Etsy disputes and have won 100% of the cases if not through them, through eBay or Etsy themselves. I mean, wrong is wrong and the proof can be provided quickly since we live in the digital age and of course before I open a case, I go and read all that small print stuff the consumers usually bypass to make sure I don't end up doing it to myself...LOL!

I do agree, as a business, especially small ones, one must shop around and compare fees for doing financial transactions among online payment system service providers.

This link looks pretty good:

9+ Excellent Online Payment Systems

Best wishes to you, my friend.
